Wescott Financial Advisory Group LLC CEO Grant Rawdin Appointed to Temple University Beasley School of Law's Board of Visitors

PHILADELPHIA, PA—Wescott Financial Advisory Group, an SEC-registered, fee-only investment advisory and wealth management firm, is pleased to announce that its President and CEO, Grant Rawdin, has been appointed to Temple University Beasley School of Law’s Board of Visitors. He will serve a three-year term.  Rawdin received his undergraduate degree and juris doctor from Temple University.

The Law School Board of Visitors was formed in 1992 to serve in an advisory capacity to the Dean of the Law School.  In addition to the Board of Visitors, Rawdin is also the current President of Temple University Law Foundation, a major fundraising arm of Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.

Rawdin began his career at the law offices of Duane Morris LLP and soon thereafter founded Wescott. Today the firm has grown to four offices and is one of the nation’s largest registered independent advisors with $1.6 billion assets under management. In addition to holding a law degree, Rawdin is an accountant and a Certified Financial Planner™; and has been awarded accolades as a top financial advisor by Worth, Barron’s, and additional industry and popular national and local media.

Rawdin currently serves as Chair of the Board of the nationally regarded Urban Affairs Coalition, supporting the organization in its work to improve life’s chances for young people, low-income families and minority-owned businesses by creating economic opportunities and strengthening non-profit organizations in urban communities.  He has also served on the boards of many other cultural, civic and charitable organizations.
