Director of Business Operations with Wescott, Margie Abrams oversees business operations for the firm which includes human resources, administrative services, facilities management and document management.
She is a member of Wescott’s Management Committee and works closely with Wescott’s founder and CEO on management and growth initiatives, and works with the management team, helping to facilitate the implementation of firm programs, policies and procedures. Margie leads Wescott’s Health & Wellness initiatives and serves as a Wellness Champion supporting wellness and employee engagement program goals and objectives.
Margie brings over 20 years of practical experience to the firm, and is a member of Wescott’s Marketing and Finance Committees. She earned her PHR designation from the Human Resource Certification Institute and SHRM-CP designation from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Philly SHRM chapter of SHRM, and the Tri-State Human Resource Management Association.
She serves on the board of Discovery Ministries, Inc., a non-profit organization in Mullica Township, New Jersey that provides social, recreational and spiritual retreats, experiences and outreach to youth, young adults, special needs children, adults and families. Margie currently chairs the annual dinner and supports other Discovery events that raise awareness and funds for Discovery. Margie continues to enjoy coordinating the firm’s annual holiday gift-giving drive on behalf of People’s Emergency Center, and has served as past campaign coordinator for the firm’s United Way Campaign.
Margie resides in Sicklerville, New Jersey and has two children.
