Amanda R. Weldon

Senior Investment Research Analyst

Amanda Weldon is Wescott’s Senior Investment Research Analyst.  She is responsible for gathering, organizing, analyzing and reporting on performance and other qualitative investment related information pertaining to the portfolios, holdings and activities of Wescott’s current and future portfolio managers, investments, models and benchmarks.  Working with the Chief Investment Officer, Amanda delivers vital investment related material and reporting that helps Wescott’s advisory team provide clients with comprehensive financial advice.

A member of Wescott’s Investment Committee, she helps guide and create Wescott’s asset allocation models and investment strategies.  Amanda also serves on the firm’s Portfolio Strategy Group, which oversees the firm’s dynamic investment strategies, ongoing due diligence of Wescott’s investment managers and asset allocation design.

Prior to joining Wescott, Amanda was an associate financial analyst with a global organization specializing in document management systems and services.

Amanda is a Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) professional, a designation administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute® and taught in conjunction with The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

She received her bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.  While there, she held a financial analyst internship with a provider of medical necessity compliance solutions.

Amanda resides in Collegeville, Pennsylvania with her husband, Chaz Weldon, and their dog, Oafie.
