Emphasis has been given to those clients forced into a sudden life transition which requires financial guidance (i.e. divorce, death of a spouse, large cash settlement).Prior to joining Wescott, Cathy was an Associate Financial Advisor with a Delaware financial advisory firm, with eleven years of experience in the advisory field.  As a member of Wescott's Investment Committee, Cathy participates in the ongoing due diligence and evaluation of investment managers and strategies.Cathy has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (cum Laude) from Goldy Beacom College in 1994 and is a Certified Financial PlannerTM.Cathy is very active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors as VP of Public Relations and Public Awareness for the Tri-State Financial Planning Association (FPA).  She is integral in coordinating FPA members and the community to become more involved in teaching financial literacy to Children through Junior Achievement.  The Philadelphia Estate Planning Council is another professional organization of which she is a member.
