Assistant: Alicia Hughes Grant Rawdin is President and CEO of Wescott. He founded the firm in 1987, which grew from the personal financial services he provided to clients at Duane Morris LLP, a venerable Philadelphia based law firm. Grant is an attorney, an accountant, a registered trust representative and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and has been awarded accolades as a top financial advisor by Worth, Barron’s and Philadelphia Magazine. Grant is Co-Chair of Wescott’s Investment Committee, which is responsible for oversight of the firm’s asset allocation models, ongoing due diligence and the firm’s investment strategies. Grant also chairs the Management, Marketing and Sales Committees. A leader of many professional organizations, he is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars, the American Bar Association and the Financial Planning Association. He has also served on the national Charles Schwab and Co., Inc. Institutional Advisory Board. Grant served for over a decade as board member, Chair and Chairman Emeritus of People's Emergency Center, nationally recognized as one of the largest premier providers of emergency shelter services, and developers of transitional housing, rental housing, and homes for ownership. Grant is the past Chair of PEC Foundation, past Chair of the corporate United Way Campaign and has been on the boards of many other cultural, civic and charitable organizations. President of Temple University Beasley School of Law Foundation, he also serves as pro-bono investment and financial advisor to several charitable organizations. Grant is a graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law (where he served as a trustee of the school’s Foundation) and Temple University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in English Literature. He has four children and resides in Rydal, Pennsylvania with his wife, Laura Rawdin.
