Cathy joined Wescott as a Financial Advisor in 2001. She is responsible in assessing the needs of all new prospective clients as well as coordinating their financial objectives for further review and analysis. She is also the primary advisor contact for her Wescott clients, is responsible for the preparation of client financial plans, annual financial updates and investment portfolio reviews.

In addition to assisting Wescott's marketing and sales efforts, her expertise is in comprehensive financial planning (tax, cash flow, budgeting, retirement and estate planning), and investment portfolio analysis and management. Emphasis has been given to those clients forced into a sudden life transition which requires financial guidance (i.e. divorce, death of a spouse, large cash settlement).

Prior to joining Wescott, Cathy was an Associate Financial Advisor with a Delaware financial advisory firm, with eleven years of experience in the advisory field. As a member of Wescott's Investment Committee, Cathy participates in the ongoing due diligence and evaluation of investment managers and strategies.

Cathy has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (cum Laude) from Goldy Beacom College in 1994 and is a Certified Financial Planner®.

Cathy is very active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors as Vice President of Public Relations and Public Awareness for the Tri-State Financial Planning Association (FPA). She is integral in coordinating FPA members and the community to become more involved in teaching financial literacy to children through Junior Achievement. The Philadelphia Estate Planning Council is another professional organization of which she is a member.
