Matt Sgro joined Wescott as Senior Accountant in 2010. Working closely with the Controller and Manager of Investment Operations and the Management Committee, he has primary responsibility for Wescott's internal financial analysis, forecasting and business modeling as the firm’s business grows. As a member of Wescott's Portfolio Strategy Group, Matt participates in the ongoing due diligence and evaluation of investment managers and strategies. He also serves as Wescott’s Chief Compliance Officer, and is a member of the Finance Committee. Prior to joining Wescott, Matt was a staff accountant and financial analyst for a payroll company in Moorestown, New Jersey and worked as an accounting associate for a firm in Towson, Maryland. Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration-finance from Towson University. He resides in Voorhees, New Jersey with his wife Kerry Sgro.
