As Wescott’s Controller, Dan Wick is responsible for overseeing all of Wescott’s business’s financial functions, including accounting, billing, budgeting, business plan, reporting, tax and banking. As a member of Wescott’s Management Committee, Dan is part of the strategic planning and analytics assessment of the firm. He is an integral part of Wescott’s merger & acquisition growth efforts, working on assessment, modeling, valuation and integration of Advisors and firms that join Wescott.
In addition to Dan’s responsibilities as Controller, he serves on the firm’s Finance Committee and Compliance Committee.
Prior to joining Wescott, for 18 years Dan served as an Accounting Director at eResearchTechnology (ERT), a global data and technology company that minimizes risk and uncertainty in clinical trials. During Dan’s tenure, ERT grew more than twentyfold through organic growth and a series acquisitions and integrations in the industry.
Dan earned his CPA while working at Coopers & Lybrand, and he holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Pennsylvania State University. Active in his community, Dan proudly leads the Wescott Bike Team in the Bike MS City to Shore Ride that is one of the fundraisers for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
He resides in Havertown, Pennsylvania with his wife, Rene, and his three children.
