Matthew Coutcher is an Assistant Financial Advisor with Wescott. He works with the firm’s senior financial advisors with clients in the core areas of financial planning and investment portfolio development and management. This includes detailed client fact-finding, data analysis, projections, client access to myWescottVault®, and tracking clients’ PerfectScore® analytics to ensure a client’s comprehensive planning has been accomplished.
Matthew serves on the firm’s Portfolio Strategy Group, which oversees the firm’s dynamic investment strategies, ongoing due diligence of Wescott’s investment managers and asset allocation design. He is also active in several professional organizations, including the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.
Before joining Wescott, Matthew was a customer service specialist and personal banker in Connecticut with the oldest mutual savings bank in the United States.
Prior to Matthew’s transition to financial services, he worked for Whole Foods as a Customer Service Team Leader where he was responsible for leading a team of 70 to provide unparalleled customer service to the consumer. Matthew was selected to attend Whole Food’s national executive LEAP program, an intensive 12-week program focusing on the best practices of customer service and management. He was one of the youngest employees to be selected for the program.
Matthew earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Central Connecticut State University.
He resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
