Sofia Lowenberg is a Human Resource Manager with Wescott. She provides administrative support to the Human Resources and Finance Teams in the areas of general human resources, onboarding, human resources document management, recruitment and the performance review process. Additional support includes billing and payroll support and other routine accounting and compliance functions. She is also a member of the firm’s DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging) Committee.
Prior to joining Wescott, Sofia was a human resources consultant with Comcast. Fluent in Spanish, her background also includes positions as a bilingual human resources assistant, client service associate and executive assistant.
Sofia is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the Project Management Institute, the National Society of Hispanic MBAs and the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Baruch College, and received her SHRM-SCP designation from the Society of Human Resource Management.
She resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her husband, Brian, and her son, Liam.
